Edwards Equipment Sales is a steel fabricator and contract OEM (original equipment manager). Cutting, forming, coating, assembly and engineering all happen inside one Birmingham building — which is why most orders leave our floor in about a week instead of a month.

One half is OEM work — we are the original equipment manager behind products that carry somebody else's name. The dunnage rack on a Tier-1 plant floor. The enclosure on a carrier's cell site. There's a fair chance it left a building in Birmingham, Alabama. We don't put our name on the front of those. We put our craft into them.
The other half is job shop work. Other manufacturers — and other fabricators — send us the parts they can't run themselves, because we have the equipment they don't. Send a print and we'll estimate it. You don't have to buy a whole program to get a quote.
